Excess Quest, since 2018.

Excess Quest supplies foreclosure and tax sale surplus funds leads, trained virtual assistants and websites to surplus funds recovery firms. Today that is a research desk, a lead pipeline built from foreclosure and tax sale auction results, a team of trained callers, and Surplus Funds, the recovery CRM our clients run their firms on.

How we got here

Excess Quest grew one request at a time, from two jobs nobody wanted to the platform every plan runs on.

  1. Cold calling and skip tracing

We started with the two jobs nobody in surplus recovery wanted, because that was what firms kept asking us to take off their desk.

    2018
  2. Leads, research and websites

A client asked, and it was worth building properly: a lead pipeline built from auction results, a research desk, and the websites firms run on.

    Then
  3. InceptDial merged in

InceptDial brought its calling operation with it. That is where our callers came from, and why they are trained on surplus outreach specifically.

    2025
  4. Surplus Funds launched

Our own recovery CRM: the case pipeline, the phone, SMS, e-signatures and the lead database, which every plan now runs on.
